Contact/Booking

To make a booking, please email us at Bookings@NairobiPark.org. Kindly note that we’re unable to process bookings over the phone.

Helpful Notes:

  • Please note that we may not be able to respond to same-day booking requests, as game drives are usually planned a day in advance.
  • We accept payments via Pesapal online link (card, or MPesa) with full payment required before the start of the safari. Pick-ups or drop-offs outside Nairobi for Nairobi National Park tours may incur an additional fee.
  • If your tour is within 24 hours, full payment is required at the time of booking, rather than the standard 50% deposit used for advance bookings.

NNP Entry Tickets: Advance Purchase Instructions

NairobiPark.org does not purchase Nairobi National Park entry tickets on behalf of guests, so tickets must be purchased directly and in advance before meeting your driver. Please follow the steps below to ensure smooth entry into the Park:

  1. Purchase your ticket in advance via the official KWS eCitizen portal, where you can pay securely using a card or MPesa: https://kwspay.ecitizen.go.ke/single-park-entry/nairobi-national-park/guests
  2. When asked “Are you paying for vehicle?”, select “No”. The vehicle and driver park entry fees are already covered in your safari booking.
  3. Select the correct park gate:
    • Choose Main Gate (Langata Road) if you are meeting your driver at the park or being picked up from a hotel within Nairobi.
    • Choose East Gate if you are being picked up directly from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), as it is the closest entry point from the airport.
  4. If you are taking an Uber or taxi to meet your guide, set your destination to KWS Main Gate, Langata Road.
  5. Please be aware that although a court temporarily halted the park fee increase, the eCitizen system still displays the new rates. KWS has advised guests to pay the amount shown on the platform (currently USD 80 for non-residents) and, in the event that the court ultimately overturns the increase, guests may email customerservice@kws.go.ke to request a refund for any overpayment. See this table for current Nairobi National Park ticket fees.
  6. Cash payments are not accepted at Nairobi National Park gates. All tickets must be purchased online via eCitizen in advance.
  7. Please note that the eCitizen link above for purchasing Nairobi National Park tickets may sometimes load slowly or appear blank for a while. If this happens, be patient as it will load eventually. If it still doesn’t load after a few minutes, try refreshing the page – it usually resolves after a few attempts.
  8. If you encounter any technical issues while booking, please contact Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) directly at 0800 597000 or customerservice@kws.go.ke, as they handle all ticketing and system support.
  9. On the day of your visit, please present a digital copy of your park ticket together with your passport or ID at the gate. Your driver will already have their own entry ticket and vehicle permit, and having your ticket ready will ensure a smooth and timely entry into the park.

Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Ticket:

  • The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (Elephant Orphanage) is open only from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, and advance booking is required at least two days before your visit.
  • NairobiPark.org does not book tickets for guests; you must reserve directly through the official Sheldrick Wildlife Trust website using their contact form.
  • In your message, include the date of your visit, number of adult and child tickets, and the names and ages of all attendees.
  • Once confirmed, you’ll receive a confirmation email, which must be presented (printed or digital) on the day of your visit.

Other tickets:

  • Advance booking required: Nairobi National Park, the Nairobi Safari Walk, the Nairobi Animal Orphanage (both within the park complex), and the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust all require advance ticket purchase via eCitizen or direct pre-booking.
  • Pay on arrival: Tickets for other nearby attractions, such as the Giraffe Centre and the Karen Blixen Museum, can be purchased on arrival at their respective entrances.
  • NairobiPark.org doesn’t make ticket bookings on behalf of guests for any of the above or for any other nearby attractions
  • If you’ve booked a half-day , combo package, or full-day safari and paid your deposit but haven’t received your driver’s contact information or vehicle assignment by 6:00 PM the day before your safari, please call or WhatsApp +254 769 103 670 for immediate assistance. You can also reach out anytime using bookings@nairobipark.org.
